Last week the Style Arcade team had the pleasure of hosting a half-day masterclass event in partnership with Elephant Room and Meta, on how to effectively plan for the upcoming sale season.
We covered everything from media performance and measurement to discounting strategies and assortment planning, presenting a refreshing combination of different perspectives and insights that highlighted the importance of bringing all departments together for collective success during peak sale trade.
We hosted a full house of over 120 brands and retailers like The Iconic, Ralph Lauren, Monday Swimwear, Ksubi, Alemais and SIR, providing an opportunity for teams to step away from the office and come together for an afternoon for networking, champagne and retail insights.
Our very own COO Christine Reed presented “The Retailer’s Guide to Sale” which covered how to define sale objectives and promote collaboration within the team. Guests were able to download Chris’ 3-part toolkit which includes the COO’s blueprint for effective sale planning.
Following presentations, Style Arcade Head of Brand Brogan Hembrow was joined on the panel by Elephant Room founder Adam, Aje Athletica Former CEO Nadia Lotter and Venroy Head of Digital Samantha Law. This candid conversation included the markdown strategies that move the needle for retailers as well as considerations around sale timing, audience targeting and creative messaging.
